在美国,许多亚裔儿童虽与中华文化血脉相连,中文学习却困难重重。
In the United States, many Asian-American children are deeply connected to Chinese culture, yet learning the language remains a significant challenge. 

一、双语教学,攻克难关
1. Bilingual Teaching: Overcoming Barriers

采用中文主导、英文辅助策略。教师精通双语,以中文营造浓厚学习氛围,从书写、朗读到故事讲解,全面渗透。遇难题,如文言文语法、成语典故,英文适时介入,助力孩子跨越理解障碍,夯实中文基础。
Adopts a Chinese-led, English-assisted teaching approach. Our bilingual teachers create an immersive Chinese learning environment, integrating writing, reading, and storytelling.  When encountering challenges such as classical Chinese grammar or idiomatic expressions, English explanations are strategically introduced to help children bridge comprehension gaps and build a strong foundation in Chinese.
 
二、趣学成语,深挖文化
2. Engaging with Idioms: Exploring Culture

成语是书院教学核心。通过动画、角色扮演,带孩子穿梭历史。从“掩耳盗铃”悟荒唐,于“卧薪尝胆”感力量,借趣味方式,孩子词汇量飙升,与古人“对话”,领略传统文化魅力,探寻华夏根源。
Idioms are at the heart of our curriculum. Through animations and role-playing, children journey through history—learning about foolishness from “Covering One’s Ears While Stealing a Bell” and resilience from “Sleeping on Firewood and Tasting Bile.” With this fun approach, their vocabulary expands rapidly, allowing them to “converse”with historical figures, appreciate traditional culture, and connect with their Chinese heritage.
 
三、多元熏陶,塑造品格
3. Cultural Immersion: Shaping Character

秉持传承多元文化理念,依托成语融合儒、道、法、墨、佛精髓。儒家“五常”化行为准则,培养友爱担当;道家予豁达心境;法家塑规则意识;墨家启天下胸怀;佛家润悲悯心灵。多元滋养,铸就孩子高尚品格。
Rooted in the philosophy of cultural heritage, our academy integrates the essence of Confucianism, Daoism, Legalism, Mohism, and Buddhism into idiom learning. Confucian “Five Constants” guide moral conduct, fostering kindness and responsibility. Daoism instills open-mindedness, Legalism cultivates a sense of discipline, Mohism inspires a global perspective, and Buddhism nurtures compassion. This diverse cultural nourishment helps shape children into individuals of strong character.

四、趣味课堂,点燃热情
4. Interactive Learning: Igniting Passion

摒弃枯燥,打造趣味课堂。角色扮演、创意写作、小组竞赛活力满满。孩子变身故事角色、创作精彩故事、团队比拼知识,在欢乐中点燃中文热爱之火,主动求知,成长为文化传承小使者。
We break away from dull, traditional teaching methods to create an engaging and dynamic classroom experience. Role-playing, creative writing, and team competitions bring lessons to life. Children step into the shoes of story characters, craft their own tales, and compete in knowledge-based challenges—fostering a love for Chinese language learning and transforming them into passionate cultural ambassadors.

I’m a high school student passionate about Chinese culture and storytelling. I grew up in China and lived there for over 15 years, which gave me a solid foundation in both the language and its rich traditions. Now living in the U.S., I offer fun and interactive Chinese idiom storytelling classes for kids ages 5–10. My lessons blend bilingual storytelling, picture books, mini-dramas, and games—helping children enjoy learning Chinese while gaining cultural understanding.

我是一名热爱中华文化的高中生,在中国长大,有超过十五年的中文语言与生活背景。现在,我希望把我最熟悉、最喜欢的中国成语故事,通过生动有趣的方式,分享给美国的小朋友们。旨在激发孩子对中文和中国文化的兴趣与理解,课堂形式丰富,包含成语故事讲解、角色表演、绘本阅读和成语小游戏,帮助孩子在轻松环境中接触中文、理解文化、提高表达。
